Eulogy

Maisie was born to Parents Christopher & Kathleen Nolan in Blessington Co. Wicklow
on 6th June 1940. One of four children, Maisie attended the local school and then got a job to help provide for the family as that’s how things were done in those days. It was either that or emigrate. Maisie met her future Husband James while she was on a night out dancing, they emigrated to the UK and settled in Ashford where they raised their four children.
Sister Alice left a good job in Ireland to join Maisie in the UK and settled in Feltham to be near her. They would enjoy many a good chat recalling all the great times they had as they grew up with their lovely Family in Blessington. Alas, tragedy struck in August 2021 when daughter Catherine died and then in June 2022 Husband James passed away. They are now sharing eternal light with the lovely Maisie.
Alice is well known on the Country Music circuit but she has taken the time out to place this Memorial on the website as a tribute to her sister Maisie.
Maisie was a very generous person and when you look at her picture you can see that generosity shining from her beautiful eyes. May She Rest In Peace.
